MULTIFIX ADHESIVE
GC Multifix (T3 Grey) is a high polymer-modified, grey cement-based tile adhesive. It is suitable for fixing tiles with less than 3% porosity, such as vitrified, semi-vitrified tiles, and natural stones on walls and floors in both interior and exterior situations. The set adhesive is water-resistant, making it ideal for use in showers, wet areas, and swimming pools. It is also perfect for renovation projects (tile-over-tile), providing a quick and easy solution for installations.
COVERAGE: Approx. 5 to 5.5 m2 / 20 Kg bag at 3 mm bed thickness.
*Coverage will vary depending on trowel notch size, tile size/type, and substrate smoothness and evenness

Application & Usage Guidelines
Area of Applications
Suitable for flooring and wall installations in both internal and external areas.
- Floor and walls, for internal and external applications. (Limited height for external use as per tile/stone/marble size)
- Precast terrazzo and small to medium format natural stones over concrete and on a variety of cement-based substrates.
- Can be used up to a maximum 12 mm bed thickness.
- The joint width shall be as per the recommendation of the architect/engineer.
- Remove the spacers when the adhesive is set firm.
- Always use grout (Normal or Epoxy Grout) between joint width tiles/stones.
Precautions
Important safety and usage guidelines to ensure durability and long-term performance of the installation.
- Do not apply directly on drywall partitions like cement, bison, gypsum, plywood boards, wood derivatives, decorative laminates, metal, plastic, or highly deformable surfaces subject to vibrations.
- Do not use in damp conditions or at temperatures below 5°C.
- Never add sand or cement at site.
- Adhesives for ceramic tiles, bricks, and stones are not designed as replacements for waterproof coating.
- Do not add excess water beyond the recommended ratio.
- Protect from direct rainfall and foot traffic for at least 24 hours after application.
- Keep out of reach of children. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, and eye/face protection.
- After contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of clean water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
Application Instructions
Ensure the substrate and surface preparation are done properly to achieve optimum bonding and long-term durability.
- The substrate must be level, cured, undamaged, compact, rigid, resistant, dry, and free from any debonding agents or rising damp.
- Ensure the surface is suitable for tiling in the service conditions to which it will be exposed.
- New concrete slabs should be damp-cured and at least 28 days old before application.
- *No minimum cure time is required for concrete slabs when thin-set mortar is mixed with a latex additive.
- Expansion joints shall be provided through the tile work from all construction or expansion joints in the substrate.
- Do not cover expansion joints with thin-set mortar.
How to Mix
- Use approximately 5 - 5.5 L of water for a 20 kg bag of powder.
- Before applying, place clean, potable water into a clean mixing bowl.
- Adjust the water as per desired consistency.
- No further water should be added once mixed.
- Leave the mixture to rest for 5 minutes before use.
- Allow the mixed adhesive to polymerize for 2–5 minutes and then mix again for 30 seconds.
